Horizon Teachers are working closely with Secondary school in Kensington who are looking for an experienced and qualified Geography teacher to join they’re department.

The position will involve teaching students from KS3-5 and also assisting in the encouragement of extra-curricular activities. The ideal candidate must be hardworking and an enthusiastic teaching professional with excellent subject knowledge and a sound understanding of the national school curriculum.

About you:

The school aims to provide a safe learning environment and continued support to all students and staff therefore the applicant must be motivated and have a keen interest in encouraging and inspiring students to learn.

• QTS (or equivalent) and/or a relevant undergraduate degree
• The ability to teach the Geography curriculum at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5
• Strong subject knowledge of the Geography national curriculum
• Genuine passion in teaching and supporting students
• Good communications skills and confident teaching in a classroom environment
