A Year 1 Teacher position is newly available at a Primary School in Wandsworth, starting in April 2018. The school are looking for a full time Year 1 Teacher with a good knowledge of the curriculum, and strong experience teaching within KS1.

The school are looking to offer a fixed term contract for 1 term, until July 2018. There is potential for a permanent position to be on offer from September 2018 and this can be confirmed nearer the time.

At their most recent Ofsted inspection, they were graded as Good in all areas. There are 2 forms of entry at the school and you will be required to work closely with the other Year 1 Teacher, who you will share your PPA time with each week.

The class is made up of 28 students, with high numbers of students having SEN or EAL. Behaviour is generally not an issue and the school have a very good behaviour management policy in place.

The school is situated in a lovely location, on the outskirts of Richmond Park, a stone's throw from Putney Village. There is a large staff car park on site at the school and a bus stop outside the school, with routes to Kingston, Hammersmith, Putney and Wimbledon.
