Graduate Teaching Assistant starting in September

Horizon Teachers are looking for enthusiastic recent graduates to join South West London based Secondary schools in September 2020 as Graduate Teaching Assistants. The role is extremely rewarding and you will be providing assistance to students with special and additional needs. You will be play a pivotal role in providing access to education for these students. We work in partnership with several good and outstanding secondary schools across South West London. We work with schools in the following areas and more: Waterloo; Stockwell; Kennington; Vauxhall; Clapham; Brixton; Balham; Battersea; Tooting; Wandsworth; Earlsfield; Mitcham; Wimbledon; Morden; Putney; Wimbledon; Tolworth; Richmond; Chessington; and Kingston upon Thames. We have several temporary short-term and long-term opportunities for graduates of all subjects.

We are looking for recent graduates that enjoy working with children, who are pro-active and that aspire to teach in the near future. Support and training will be offered by experienced, welcoming and encouraging staff. In-school experience is not essential, however experience of working with children in some capacity is advantageous. This is the perfect way to launch your career in secondary education

We are looking for a Graduate Teaching Assistant that:

·Enjoys working with teenagers
·Has a degree (2:2 and above)
·Friendly, proactive and enthusiastic
·Excellent oral and written communication skills
·Strong literacy and numeracy skills
·Relevant experience and enjoys working with children (e.g. in school, tutoring etc.)
