Horizon teachers is currently working with an amazing school in Lewisham who are looking to appoint an outstanding Science Teacher to join their school.  This is an exciting opportunity for an amazing and inspirational Science teacher to join a diverse and energetic school in a south east London school.  You will be teaching Science across GCSE and A Level and will be inspiring excellence in all students, as well as advising parents and pupils on progress and giving clear guidance for areas of strength and improvement.  You will also need to demonstrate a good subject knowledge of Key stage 3 and 4 Physics, Chemistry and Biology, with the potential of teaching key stage 5 singular science subjects, in order to create the best environment for students to make good progress throughout lessons and the school year.   

The Science department has been established in this Lewisham school for a number years and the subject has been taught as both double and triple award at GCSE.  As a department, the results of external examinations have been consistently good and outstanding in the last few years, with staff working hard to implement the new GCSE changes to their subject. This is testament to the hard work and determination of the staff within the science department who have worked hard to ensure they’re using the most cutting edge pedagogy to help students achieve their potential.
