Head of History Teacher

Location- Croydon

Mixed Secondary School, ages 11-18.

Main/Upper pay scale plus TLR for suitable candidates.

Immediate start.

Permanent, full-time role.

 

Horizon Teachers are working with a great school in Croydon, who need a Teacher to be Head of Department for History. It will involve teaching students of all ages, and different abilities, creating a positive and enhanced learning environment. You will join this school in its journey towards becoming an Outstanding school, aiding the students in their path to success.

As a head of department this role will also include managing pastoral care for your department, an area which the school are particularly interested in, as well as some extra-curricular activities and promotion of mutual respect and cultural awareness.

Experience as a teacher of History is essential, with experience of leading a team of teachers not being necessary but would be beneficial. Head of Science
