Horizon Teachers are currently looking for enthusiastic recent graduates to join our team of Teaching Assistants and to start working in South East London Secondary schools immediately. If you are thinking of a career in teaching, the schools will offer a complete academic years' work that will support your teacher training applications. Many schools will also look enrol you on their own Schools Direct teacher training. As a Teaching Assistant you will provide support to the class teacher and their pupils. Support, training, and guidance will be offered by school staff and Horizon Teachers. Being a Teaching Assistant is a rewarding role where you play a key role in raising the attainment of pupils.
We work in partnership with several Good and Outstanding Secondary schools across South East London. We are working with Secondary schools in the following areas across South East London: Erith; Bexleyheath; Charlton; Eltham; Chislehurst; Sidcup; Deptford; Blackheath; Woolwich; Plumstead; Lewisham; Grove Park; Lee; Sydenham; Beckenham; Peckham; Bermondsey; Herne Hill; and Dulwich.
If you are an ambitious, enthusiastic, and pro-active graduate available to start a full-time Teaching Assistant position immediately, we would love to hear from you. In-school experience is not essential, however experience of supporting children is desirable. In order to protect the health and welfare of our team, teachers and teaching support staff, we will be holding video interviews and consultations for the foreseeable future.
