We are looking for SEN Support Staff to work within Complex Needs Schools across South London on a daily and long-term basis. 

About you
Have previous experience working with SEN students
Can adapt, cope and remain calm everyday
Enjoys an alternative way of learning
Hold NVQ Level 2 Supporting Learning and Teaching in schools
Have a DBS (we can support with your application)
Available daily or long-term
Able to support the student’s individual needs, such as feeding and toileting

SEN Support Worker

£65 - £85 per day
A complex needs school in Southwark are looking for strong and committed SEN Teaching Assistants to work in an Ofsted rated Outstanding' School starting in February 2019. Initially, this is a long term role until April 5th 2019 but could potentially continue for the rest of the academic year. The school caters for secondary aged students from 11-19 years old, they are a positive and focused community who acknowledge the rights of their students to learn and develop as individuals. The school has many sensory aspects to the design to enable students to engage with their learning at every opportunity. It is an essential part of the ethos of the school that they aspire to be a centre of educational excellence for students with severe and complex learning needs. As a SEN Teaching Assistant you can expect to be:- Supporting the class teacher with classes no more than 11 students per class. - Often work 1:1 with pupils who require extra support and guidance with their studies.- Undergo Training and further development opportunities. - Work alongside other professionals who all share the same passion for supporting students development.The successful candidates would be expected to have previous experience working within an alternative school setting, SEN experience including ASD and complex needs. Have additional behaviour management training, for example; Makaton, Team Teach, STEPS (Desirable). Be experienced and have an interest in working with children/young people in some capacity. Be enthusiastic and willing to learn and support their students development, academically and personally. Above all, you must be approachable, eager and promote positive behaviour management and enjoy a challenge. Support in SEN

£60 - £90 per day
A growing number of children and young people in the UK are being identified as having Special Educational Needs (SEN) whether academic, physical, mental health/medical or behavioural. Learning Support Assistant

£60 - £92 per day
A special school based in Ealing for children aged 4 -16 with complex social, communication and interaction difficulties are seeking a learning support assistant to join them as soon as possible.
