Learning Support Mentor - Secondary Complex Needs Schools

£60 - £70 per day
A special School based in East London for pupils aged 11 to 19 who have severe learning difficulties are looking for a Learning Support Mentor to work on a Full time, Long term basis from 17th September. Learning Support Assistant - Complex Needs School in South West London

£65 - £75 per day
Learning Support Mentor required for a Special Education Needs School in South West London. The specialist school caters for pupils with a statements of Special Education Needs (SEN) including Moderate Learning Needs, Speech and Language Difficulties, associated learning behaviours and those with an additional diagnosis of Autism.   This is a Full time, Long term position starting on 10th September (or ASAP) and continuing until the end of the academic year, term time only. The successful applicant will work 8.30am to 4pm Monday to Friday. You will be based in a Key Stage 2 class supporting pupils with a range of SEN.     The main aim of the school is to equip pupils with life skills in order for them to achieve their potential and develop the greatest degree of independence in communication, social competence, thinking and learning and sensory regulation as far as possible for each person. The school’s facilities are funded well and have a range of sensory resources and well-equipped large classrooms. Lessons are planned and communicated well between class teachers and teaching assistants and well-resourced. Communication Support Worker

A Deaf Support Base attached to a mainstream Primary School in Tower Hamlets are seeking a Communication Support Worker to join their forward thinking team in supporting pupils with hearing impairments. This is a full time and long term role starting immediately. The School are looking to appoint an experienced Communication Support Worker with, or working towards, BSL (British Sign Language) level 3 and above to work primarily with students using BSL in order to access the Primary National Curriculum.
