Are you a highly enthusiastic teacher of Technology who is currently looking for a new and exciting role?
Horizon Teachers is currently working with a well-known secondary school in Barnet who are looking to appoint an experience teacher of Technology on a long term basis.
The school offers a STEM focused curriculum at KS3 covering Resistant materials, Control, Electronics, Graphics and Food, Each KS3 project incorporates a challenging computing/ICT component, Product design is delivered at GCSE and A Level.
The school is highly focused on the pursuit of academic development at the highest level among their students, unashamedly celebrating intellectual accomplishment and seek to nurture clear thinking and scholarly curiosity.
They also offer a meticulous and richly faceted holistic approach to the education of the students, it is this approach combined with their excellent facilities and a proud history dating back to 1573 that make them different from most state schools.
The school also offers a number of extra-curricular activities such as 3D-Printing, drawing and rendering, micro-bit and automotive technology clubs, also offering a wide range of clubs and activities through which they enter national competitions.
