Higher Level Teaching Assistant

This Teaching Assistant role will be working throughout the provision and will concentrate on general support for the 27 students who currently attend. The needs present in the provision are ASD, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy and students who have Speech and Language difficulties, you will need to be comfortable supporting all of these needs. The students have a range of levels, the more capable are working towards foundation GCSE level in core subjects however the role can be very varied as there is a big focus on independent living and life skills, it is important that you are enthusiastic and get involved in all aspects of the learning.
