Horizon Teachers is currently working with a fantastic school in North London. This is an exciting opportunity for an inspirational and motivated Maths Teacher to join a diverse and energetic department in a North London school. You will be teaching Maths across the secondary key stages, inspiring excellence in all students, as well as advising parents and pupils on progress and giving clear guidance for areas of strength and improvement.  You will also need to demonstrate a good subject knowledge of Key stage 3 Maths and GCSE in order to create the best environment for students to make good progress throughout lessons and the school year.   

The maths department are lively and thriving, with its members delivering a shared vision of promoting excellence in the study of Maths. Recent results for the GCSE exams were strong, with 65% of their students achieving a strong pass in both English and Maths this summer. Their high standards and innovative practice has developed a love of Maths in their students with a number of them going on to study it at A Level in the local colleges.  They aim to improve results each year through continued CPD programmes and inclusive department planning time.
