Are you a highly passionate qualified teacher of Physics who is looking for a new and exciting role for a September start?

Horizon Teacher is currently working with a good rated secondary school in the borough of Barnet who are looking to appoint a passionate Physics teacher to join their friendly, successful staffing teams.
The school prides itself on being a happy and stimulating place to learn, they are proud of their long history stretching back to 1857 but they are also forward looking, embracing the modern world as a specialist school for mathematics and science.
They are non-selective and have no religious affiliation, the enthusiastic student body of 750 students aged 11 to 16 of both sexes, working in productive partnership with well qualified and committed staff, hardworking governors and supportive parents.

The school saw 75% of the students achieve a A*- C grades in GCSE’s which is above the national average, the school plan to continue to improve on this impressive result year on year with the right teacher contributing towards this.

This fantastic role is due to start in September and will be a permanent post, the salary for this would be £26,662 - £37,645 dependant on experience.

This position is a permanent, part time role and involves teaching up to Key Stage 5 level, teaching students both GCSE and A-level. Both NQTs and experienced teachers are welcome to apply, as long as the teacher has QTS status. The school is looking for a strong teacher who will enhance the students learning environment, by passing on a passion for physics science and encouraging the best results through positive lesson approaches and adaptive classroom management. The school is a mixed sixth form college, with great exam results- in 2018, 50% achieved A* and A results. Class sizes are small and there are excellent on-site facilities.
