Are you an experience teacher of computer science who is looking to secure a long term role in the new year?

Horizon Teachers is currently working with a well-known academy in the borough of Islington who are looking to appoint an enthusiastic teacher of computer science to join their successful department this January until the end of the academic year with the possibility of this then being turned into a permanent role.

The ideal teacher will have experience teaching;
L3 ICT BTEC, L2 ICT BTEC, Year 11 computer science while having good all round subject knowledge of ICT/ Computer science but most importantly a real passion for teaching the subject as a whole.

Noted in their latest Ofsted report ‘From low starting points students make good and increasing rates of progress, the proportion of students obtaining five or more GCSE grades A* to C including English and Mathematics has nearly doubled in the last year, Behaviour is good clear systems are consistently applied and understood by all, The principal provides outstanding leadership she has acted rapidly to improve achievement and teaching and has fully involved the senior team, subject leaders and governors’.
