Are you a qualified teacher with a passionate for English who is looking for a new and exciting role with an immediate start?

Horizon Teacher is currently working alongside a good rated all boy’s secondary school in the borough of Enfield who is looking for a passionate, dynamic English teacher to join their school on a temporary basis.
The school prides itself on its long history which stretches back to 1558 where it began as an educational establishment, given the huge responsibility by the local church to teach poor, local children to read and write, today they continue this working and much, much more.
Their aim is simply to prepare their students for the world, to give them the skills and knowledge to be of use to serve and to positively affect those that they encounter along the way.

Noted in their latest Ofsted report ‘Leaders, governors and staff carry out regular checks on the quality of teaching, this has a positive impact on pupil’s and students’ achievement, The overall quality of teaching is good across the school including the sixth form, A small proportion is outstanding, pupils learn most effectively when teachers give them opportunities to explore deeper and more sophisticated ideas to see how far the can go in their learning, GCSE results were significantly above the national average’.

This fantastic role is due to start ASAP and will initially be until the end of the academic year with the right teacher being offered a permanent role through the school, the pay will be £140 - £210 per day
