A Nursery school and Childrens centre in Haringey (Close to Tottenham) require a qualified Nursery Nurse / Early Years practitioner to start in January 2020.
This is a busy, diverse nursery school serving the local community in North London.

The nursery caters for 2-4 year olds in their pre-school and run alongside their children centre services for the community.

We are looking for a passionate practitioner to further strengthen their friendly team.

This is a full time position, working Monday to Friday during school term times. .

Ideally you will:

• Be qualified to NVQ/CACHE Level 3/NNEB (or equivalent) in childcare
• Have a sound understanding and experience of the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum and Every Child Matters framework
• Have a desire to work with children under 5 years old, and be committed to giving them the best possible start in life
• Be a self-starting person with a hands on, practical approach to children's learning
• Be an effective team member with a proactive approach and a sense of humour

Nursery Nurse

£9 - £15 per hour
A position has become available for a fully qualified Nursery Nurse to work in Nursery School and Children's Centre based in North London. The role is based in the Children's Centre with staff who is fully committed to the progression of the centre. You will be required to work with Children between the ages of 3-5 on a full time basis. Our ideal candidate will be a qualified Nursery Nurse and have the ability to conduct observations. Responsibilities will include personal care duties such as feeding and changing. The ideal applicant will have previous experience working with Early Years and have an up to date knowledge of the EYFS. You are required to have a qualification to work as a Nursery Nurse; such as a CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 2 / NNEB, a degree in Early Childhood Studies, or an equivalent qualification. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must and you should be confident in your ability to support SEN children and children with English as an additional language (EAL).
