A nursery in Golders Green are seeking a Nursery Nurse to join their friendly team!

The nursery is committed to providing a great service to its local community. It aims to deliver the best start in life to young children and focuses on creating active, innovative learners. The leadership team and staff work together to give each child the best education to move onto the next step in life. The nursery creates a secure and welcoming atmosphere, where children are taught a broad and well-balanced curriculum, which meets the needs of each individual child.

Your role will be to join the staff team in providing an excellent education to each and every child. You will take part in encouraging the children to become inquisitive and creative learners. You will have the responsibility of teaching and stimulating the interests of your nursery class through play and learning. You will be able to organise exciting and creative activities which will allow children to explore the environment around them.

  • Have excellent knowledge of the EYFS Curriculum
  • Be confident in your abilities to advance children’s learning through play

Nursery Nurse

£60 - £80 per day
A position has become available for a fully qualified Nursery Nurse to work in Nursery School and Children's Centre based in North London. The role is based in the Children's Centre with staff who is fully committed to the progression of the centre. You will be required to work with Children between the ages of 3-5 on a full time basis. Our ideal candidate will be a qualified Nursery Nurse and have the ability to conduct observations. Responsibilities will include personal care duties such as feeding and changing. The ideal applicant will have previous experience working with Early Years and have an up to date knowledge of the EYFS. You are required to have a qualification to work as a Nursery Nurse; such as a CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 2 / NNEB, a degree in Early Childhood Studies, or an equivalent qualification. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must and you should be confident in your ability to support SEN children and children with English as an additional language (EAL). The Children Centre has fantastic transport links, a very short walk from their nearest underground station in under 10 minutes.
