This could be the perfect opportunity for you! Horizon Teachers are working closely with a Primary School in North West London who are looking for an Intervention and PPA Teacher to join their fantastic team.

YOUR DAY:
You will spend the mornings working with small groups of children from KS2, with a focus on raising their achievement in English and Maths.
In the afternoons, you will be covering PPA time across the school, from Nursery to Year 6. After school, you will be expected to attend the weekly staff meetings and liaise with the other staff to discuss the progress of the children.

ABOUT THE SCHOOL:
You will be working with an extremely experienced and supportive Headteacher and a team of colleagues who are proud of their school. There are always plenty of opportunities to learn and develop your teaching practice and the have a proven record of promoting from within.

There is a diverse intake with a high proportion of children for whom English is an additional language.

They are close to transport links, with the London Overground and Jubilee line being easily accessible from the school. There is also parking available.

ABOUT YOU:
• A qualified Primary Teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent overseas qualification
• A minimum of 2 years teaching experience
• An excellent knowledge of the curriculum and experience of teaching in various year groups (KS2 in particular)
• Prior experience as an Intervention Teacher would a benefit, but is not essential

Part time Year 6 & Intervention Teacher

We are working with a Primary School in the Bexley area who are looking for an experienced KS2 Teacher to join them on 16th April 2018, to work as an additional Teacher in Year 6 for 3 days per week. The role will be split between class and intervention teaching. THE SCHOOL A 3 form entry school in the London Borough of Bexley. They have a large staff car park available on site.
