Horizon Teachers are working with an Outstanding London Secondary school who are seeking a dynamic and passionate Chemistry teacher to join their highly successful Science Learning Area. The applicant should be dedicated to raising the attainment of all students by developing a deep understanding and love of Chemistry.

We are looking for applicants with experience of teaching Chemistry at KS4 and preferably KS5, and a track record of leading students to achieve great results. They will share the school's vision that all children can succeed and be reflective practitioners that contribute to a high performing team.

Based in North London, this school is lightly smaller than the average secondary, which has helped in the development of a family feel within the school with an inclusive open and transparent approach. The school's Science Department has developed immensely over the last few years with Senior Leadership investing in a developing the quality of teaching and leadership of the department which has paid dividends. The school achieved a successful A*-C GCSE pass rate of over 65% this year. The school are keen to continue this development and are looking to appoint an outstanding practitioner to continue the good work carried out over the last few years.

It is a long-term Science supply teaching role initially which will give you the opportunity to get a feel for the school. The school is very easy to reach from public transport and benefits from excellent facilities.
