Are you a newly qualified teacher of English looking for an exciting opportunity to start in September 2018?

Here at Horizon Teachers we are currently looking for a Newly Qualified Teacher of English with a real passion for the subject to work in a ‘Good rated Academy based in North East London.

Your daily duties will consist of the following;

  • Ensuring good learning takes place and pupils make superior progress in every lesson
  • Attending school assemblies
  • Planning, Resourcing and delivering English lesson to the highest possible standard
  • Giving pupils’ feedback on work completed
  • Liaising with Head Of department and senior staff
  • Being a positive role model at all times
  • Establishing and maintaining discipline across the whole school
  • Providing a positive environment to help students learning process

Horizon Teachers have just received a request to find an NQT Year 1 teacher to work in an 'Outstanding' 4-form entry primary school in Waltham Forest. The school uses established schemes of work to support staff.  There will also be a dedicated mentor to ensure you meet the standards of an outstanding Year 1 teacher.  There are also opportunities for rapid career advancement for the right candidate.  The school benefits from excellent public transport links, a supportive management team and well behaved pupils who engage enthusiastically with their learning. Ideally, you should have some experience working in Key Stage 1 during your placements and a comprehensive understanding of the New National Curriculum.  You will also need to provide evidence of QTS and elibility to work in the UK.
