A mainstream Primary School located in Camden are currently seeking a graduate Teaching Assistant to work in their Year 1 class on a full time basis. You will be required to work 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday starting in September 2020 and ongoing until July 2021.
The school are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic individual to join their team of bubbly Teaching Assistants. You will be required to ensure the safety and welfare of the pupils in the classroom, maintain a stimulated environment for the students and keep a positive attitude when working with the children. You will be required to perform general classroom assistant duties which will include supporting all the pupils in the classroom and working directly with the classroom teacher liaising on the progression and areas of improvement for the students.
The school are looking to appoint a graduate who has a future goal of becoming a teacher as they offer a high level of support for career progression. Continuity is very important for the children's progression therefore they require commitment to this role. You will be supported by the classroom teacher and other Teaching Assistants at the school but the ability to work on your own initiative and get on with tasks effectively will work really well for the school.
