Horizon Teachers are working with a great school in Richmond upon Thames who are looking for a Maths and ICT Teacher to start in January 2019.
This mixed secondary school has pupils aged 11 to 18, and is part of a family of local schools who ensure their students are equal partners in a community of high-achieving and creative schools. The school value integrity, perseverance, dedication, empathy, and responsibility, and ensure these values are embedded in the teaching environment to strive for the best for their pupils. The focus is on enabling students to work as individuals as well as part of a team, aspiring and achieving whilst also enjoying the curriculum.
The Mathematics Teacher role in this school involves being responsible for teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, and the school would ideally like someone who could also teach ICT at all levels. This role is purely a teaching role, with no extra pastoral or extra curriculum requirements. As a core subject this department is highly valued and a priority at the school, therefore the school are seeking a teacher with strong subject knowledge.
The role is temporary with an opportunity to become permanent.
