Music Teacher

Are you an experience qualified Music teacher looking for a new and exciting role within an outstanding secondary school?

Horizon teachers is currently working with an Outstanding secondary school based in Harrow who are looking to appoint a passionate Music teacher to join their successful staffing team.

To be considered for this role you must have the following;

  • Experience of teaching Music from KS3-KS5
  • Hold a valid QTS or be overseas trained
  • A proven record of classroom progression
  • January availability
  • Experience of teaching engaging lessons
  • NQT’s may be considered

Your daily duties will consist of the following;

  • Liaising with senior staff when required
  • Providing a positive environment in which students can learn
  • Planning and delivering science lessons to the highest standard
  • Establishing and maintaining discipline in the class
  • Being a positive role model at all times
  • Assigning work, correcting and marking work carried out
  • Monitoring student progression on a daily basis

The salary in place for this fantastic opportunity is £140-£210 per day dependant on experience, This role is due to start January 2019 on a long term contract with the right person being offered a permanent post through the school.

Head of Music

£30,000 - £44,000 per annum
Head of Music Teacher The role: Permanent, full time teaching role; Head of Music Department; Salary: MPS4-UPS3 with TLR for suitable candidates; January 2019 start; Teaching and pastoral responsibilities.
