Horizon Teachers are working closely with a Primary School in Brent, who are looking for a Year 1 Teacher to join them on a part time basis for an April start. NQTs and experienced Teachers are welcome to apply!

A fantastic opportunity is available for a KS1 specialist Teacher to join a successful and inclusive Primary School located in the Willesden area of Brent.

They'd like for the successful Teacher to work 2 or 2.5 days per week, alongside another part time member of staff. Planning for the class will be shared between you and your job share partner, and the Teacher of the parallel Year 1 class.

One of the strengths of this school is the Headteacher. She is extremely supportive and dedicated to the school and the staff. She is particularly passionate about offering development opportunities and promotions to those who would like them. There is a proven track record of promoting from within.

This is a diverse school, with a high proportion of students for whom English is an additional language. If you have experience of working in a similar environment, this would be an advantage.

Behaviour at the school is generally good, with students being eager to learn. However, there is a good behaviour management policy in place, which is followed throughout the school.

You will have:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent overseas qualification
• Experience working with KS1
• Commitment to raising standards within the school
• The ability to work well as part of a team

Primary MFL Teacher - Part time

A permanent position is available for an experienced MFL Teacher at a successful and popular Primary School in Islington, starting in September 2018. You will be working on a part time basis, for either 4 or 5 afternoons per week. The timetable has not yet been confirmed, so they are able to be flexible on this, and could offer mornings for the right person. The Role You will be delivering MFL lessons to the KS2 children during the Class Teacher's PPA time. You will be working with whole classes, but may occasionally do some small group work with children on an ad hoc basis. This year, the children in Years 3 to 6 have been learning Spanish. The Headteacher is open to hearing from Teachers of other languages, such as French or Mandarin, as they are able to change the language taught for the right person.
