Horizon Teachers are working closely with a Primary School in Brent, who are looking for a Year 1 Teacher to join them on a part time basis for an April start. NQTs and experienced Teachers are welcome to apply!

A fantastic opportunity is available for a KS1 specialist Teacher to join a successful and inclusive Primary School located in the Willesden area of Brent.

They'd like for the successful Teacher to work 2 or 2.5 days per week, alongside another part time member of staff. Planning for the class will be shared between you and your job share partner, and the Teacher of the parallel Year 1 class.

One of the strengths of this school is the Headteacher. She is extremely supportive and dedicated to the school and the staff. She is particularly passionate about offering development opportunities and promotions to those who would like them. There is a proven track record of promoting from within.

This is a diverse school, with a high proportion of students for whom English is an additional language. If you have experience of working in a similar environment, this would be an advantage.

Behaviour at the school is generally good, with students being eager to learn. However, there is a good behaviour management policy in place, which is followed throughout the school.
