The thriving primary school believe in giving their pupils a broad and balanced learning experience, the curriculum is fun and creative, as a teaching assistant it will be your responsibility to engage the children in day to day learning.
The position will be working alongside a reception class, the school need someone who can commit to the rest of the academic year and someone who can preferably start as soon as possible. It is important that you have a real passion and enthusiasm for working in education, particularly in early years, although a Level 3 qualification is preferred it is not vital.
The role requires someone who displays confident communication skills and an energetic, engaging personality with the children. You will be working as a general class Teaching Assistant, supporting and supervising the children’s physical and general care as well as their learning. The role will involve working alongside the class teachers to plan and prepare activities, as well as observing and tracking pupil development and progress.
