Are you an experienced learning support assistant who is looking for an exciting new opportunity within East London?
Horizon Teachers is currently working with a well-known secondary school is Redbridge who are looking for an experienced, passionate learning support assistant to join their SEN department.
The school admits students with a wide range of learning and physical needs including students in wheelchairs, the school has a large team of LSA’s who provide targeted support across the curriculum.
The school is an 11-18 mixed comprehensive school, with a national reputation for excellence, their most recent Ofsted inspection described the school as ‘outstanding’ in all categories.
They provide a broad and balanced curriculum that offers all students the opportunity to succeed, they focus on teaching students the skills to be effective learners, and to encourage them in a love of learning that they will keep throughout their life, many enrichment opportunities add to students’ experience and development.
As a learning support assistant you will be supporting students within lessons, helping with the target interventions that are run by the support department and assisting with the care needs of the students with physical disabilities.
