Horizon Teachers are working with a mainstream secondary school located in the London Borough of Newham who are seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their current team in September 2023. You will work on a whole class and small group basis with students across Key Stages 3 and 4 supporting them with their learning.
About the role
• To provide support to students ensuring pupils can integrate as fully as possible with other children in the class whilst making progress.
• Encourage positive relationships with students encouraging them to interact with others and act independently.
• Providing support to the class teacher with classroom management whilst maintaining a purposeful and supportive environment.
• Enabling students to learn as effectively as possible on a whole class and small group basis.
