Are you a recent graduate who is looking to become a teacher in the future? Looking to gain invaluable experience?

Horizon Teachers is currently working with a secondary school based in the borough of Waltham Forest who are looking for their next teachers.
They are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and dedicated learning support assistant to join their inclusion department, the role will involve working alongside teachers to support students with SEN in a wide variety of subjects and providing targeted intervention programmes at lunchtime, before and after school to support students to improve the skills they need to become effective learners in the classroom and successful adults.

The school is committed to providing all staff with excellent professional development and the inclusion department has regular training sessions which focus on developing the skills needed to ensure there are an outstanding team who continue to achieve above average outcomes for students with additional needs.
This post would be equally suited to high quality candidates committed to a TA career or an ambitious graduate with an interest in building up school experience prior to teacher training.

Ideally you would have a keen interest in becoming a teacher as the school can help you with this, offering teacher training to right people after then end of the 1 year fixed term contract.
