Horizon Teachers is currently working with a fantastic school in East London. This is an exciting opportunity for an inspirational and motivated Science Teacher to join a diverse and energetic department in an East London school. You will be teaching Science across the secondary key stages, inspiring excellence in all students, as well as advising parents and pupils on progress and giving clear guidance for areas of strength and improvement.  You will also need to demonstrate a good subject knowledge, of Key stage 3 Science up to A Level Biology, Chemistry and Physics, in order to create the best environment for students to make good progress throughout lessons and the school year.

Recent results for the GCSE exams were strong, with 45% of their students achieving a strong pass in both English and Maths this summer. They aim to improve results each year through continued CPD programmes and inclusive department planning time, with the science department achieving their highest results for the last decade!  The department has an incredible new facility, with up to date equipment and incredibly supporting technicians who are prepared to assist you with practical lessons.
