This excellent, friendly, high achieving school in Newham is looking for a teacher of History to join their successful Humanities department from September 2018 or sooner if you are available. This role is a Permanent and the school would like applications from both experienced and newly qualified teachers. The successful teacher must be able to teach History up to and including key stage 4. The ability to offer another Humanities subject would be looked upon favourably but is not essential.

The Head of Humanities wishes to appoint a dynamic and outstanding teacher of History who will be able to join this hardworking team of teachers. The Humanities department consists of full time teachers and due to promotion there is now a vacancy for a teacher of History. The timetable will be split between KS3 and GCSE lessons. The successful teacher must be a trained teacher and have experience of teaching and delivering outstanding lessons. The school will consider applications from both experienced teachers and Newly Qualified Teachers.

The school require teachers applying for this role to;
• Hold valid QTS or hold an overseas teaching qualification.
