DT Teacher - Resistant Materials

This large Ofsted "Good" School located in the inner London borough of Hackney is looking to appoint a dynamic, motivated, hardworking and outstanding Design Technology Teacher. This is a temporary role with a Permanent contract on offer to an outstanding Teacher in Summer 2018.
The role is to teach Resistant Materials to pupils in KS3, 4 and 5. At KS3 you will teach students in mixed ability groups and be part of a rotation where students experience all aspects of design technology. At KS4 you will teach GCSE resistant materials to students who have chosen the subject GCSE DT is a popular and over subscribed option. Students grades are excellent and work produced has been proudly displayed throughout the school. At KS5 A Level DT is an option and as at KS4 it is a popular option for all students.
The school located in Hackney with excellent links to al of London is rated as Good by Ofsted. Staff at the school are passionate and work hard to maintain the high standards the school has set. The Head of DT now is looking for a passionate teacher who is able to join the department and deliver outstanding lessons. This role would suit an experience DT teacher looking for a new challenge or a recently qualified teacher looking to start in a supportive and dynamic environment.
