To be considered for this great opportunity you must have the following;

  • A real passion for Geography as a subject
  • Hold a QTS or NQT
  • Fantastic subject knowledge
  • Experience of teaching engaging Geography lessons to a KS3/KS4 standard
  • A proven record of classroom progression
  • Legal right to work in the UK

Your daily duties will consist of the following;

  • Attending parents evening
  • Assigning work, correcting and marking work carried out
  • Liaise and report to head of department
  • Planning and delivering Geography lessons to the highest standard
  • Monitoring student progression and giving appropriate feedback
  • Being a positive role model at all times
  • Establishing and maintaining discipline across the whole school


The salary for this fantastic opportunity is £26,662 - £34,637 and is due to start in September 2018.

Geography Teacher Location - Redbridge Start - September 2017 or sooner Full time Permanent role MPS/UPS Are you looking for a Geography teaching position to start in September 2018 or sooner? Horizon Teachers in partnership with an Outstanding School in Redbridge are currently looking to recruit a Teacher of Geography. The successful Teacher of Geography will be joining an expanding Humanities department. This is a full time role to teach Geography to KS3, 4 and 5. You will be teaching GCSE as well as have the opportunity to teach A Level. The school are looking for high quality teachers and will be willing to pay one or two scale points higher for strong teachers. The School The school is looking to employ a newly qualified Geography teacher who has who is able to engage, progress and motivate students of all abilities. This is an ambitious role and for the right teacher will provide the opportunity to grow and experience teaching in a good school where the ambitions of all are clear. The SLT at the school are dedicated to improving the school further and an outstanding grade is in their sights. Progress at the school is good and the progress 8 score is in line with other school of the same size and catchment.
