Horizon Teachers are working with a Great Secondary School in Barking who wish to appoint a Head of Geography. This position is a Permanent role to start in the 2020/2021 academic year. The school would like to hear from you if you are looking for such a role and can demonstrate the skills to lead a department.

As the Head of Geography you will be leading a great department of teachers who have a drive to progress pupils of all ability, You will be responsible for the progress of pupils as well as the teachers in your department. You will also be teaching Geography at KS3 and 4 with a focus on the GCSE teaching of this popular subject.

The school we are working with is a friendly community-based school, Ofsted graded it as Good in their last inspection. Staff at the school are welcoming and every time Horizon Teachers have visited the school pupils have been welcoming and engaging. Behaviour at the school is good and you will be welcomed into the community of the school.
