Are you looking for a new and challenging role? Do you genuinely care about helping young children? Are you an experienced Communication Support Worker or working towards a BSL level 3? If so look no further, this is the role for you!

A Deaf Support Base in East London are looking for a Communication Support Worker to work with students using BSL. The Leadership team are expanding to meet the communication needs of deaf students and students with more complex needs.

You will be working as a member of the Deaf Resource Base which caters to twelve deaf children.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • BSL Qualification Level 2 minimum or relevant signing experience
  • A minimum qualification of grade C in GCSE English and Maths
  • A valid DBS certificate
  • Previous experience of supporting pupils with SEN (desirable)

In return you will be working with a very supportive team and environment and will have on the job support from your team members. You will also get the chance to work on 1:1 with the students. Training is provided and there are development opportunities within the team.
