JOB DESCRIPTION

A warm and welcoming Primary School in East London are looking to appoint an experienced KS1 Teacher to join the team from September.

• Year 1 or Year 2 class
• 26 students - Greater than average number of EAL students
• An experienced and highly trained Teaching Assistant to support you

The school is have recently had an Ofsted inspection, and where graded Outstanding in all areas.

I have supplied the school with cover Teachers and Teaching Assistants for over a year and to date, have never had negative feedback from any of our staff.

Having visited the school last year, I was able to see for myself how well behaved, friendly and polite the students are. When waiting in the reception area, every child who passed me greeted me with a good morning and a smile. I was taken on a tour of the school by the Deputy Headteacher, and was able to visit the various classrooms. The students were so well behaved and seemed to truly be enjoying learning.

Whilst the school is a faith school, they warmly welcome applications from Teachers from any faith, or those with no faith. The school believe in valuing the input from each and every child, and celebrating their success. They are looking for Teachers who are passionate and able to inspire every child to succeed.

KS1 Teacher - 2 days per week

£140 - £227 per day
Year 1 Teacher - 2 days per week - Vauxhall We are looking for an experienced KS1 Teacher for a part time position that has become available at a GOOD Primary School near Vauxhall. You will be working for 2 days per week, as part of a job share, alongside another experienced and long standing member of the team. The position is based in the Year 1 class, who are a lovely, well behaved group. There are a couple of children in the class who have SEN, and these children have 1:1 support. Planning, marking and assessment will be required within this position, but this will be split with the other Class Teacher, and you will be given PPA time. ABOUT THE SCHOOL• GOOD Ofsted• Based in a great location, with 2 tube stations very nearby to the school• Small and close knit team of staff• Plenty of support and an approachable SLT You will be an experienced KS1 Teacher, with an excellent knowledge of the curriculum.
