Maths Teacher - Outstanding School

Location - Redbridge

Role - Class Teacher, KS3, 4 and 5

Salary - MPS/UPS 

An Outstanding school is looking for a teacher of Maths who is able to take on extra responsibility in the future within the Maths department. Located in Redbridge this school has an outstanding reputation in the local area and is over subscribed. This is an excellent opportunity to start a new position and work in a thriving environment developing Strong academic skills. The role is to teach a mix of key stage 3,4 and 5 lessons. There is also an extra responsibility point available in the future as a key stage coordinator. This will involve tracking and upholding progress across a year group within the maths department. 

Maths as a core subject has a high status at the school, the department work collaboratively. Students and teachers work in a calm and engaging environment. The modern classrooms are furnished to a high standard with the latest equipment and resources available in every lesson. Schemes of work have been adapted and the current department have done extensive planning to ensure all lessons are differentiated and pupils of all abilities progress in lessons. 

Students at the school are now achieving more high level grades than ever, in every subject at GCSE results have increased in recent years. Students studying at A Level are progressing to some top universities. The Maths department have seen their grades increase and key headline figures remain high. The department is seeking a dynamic teacher who will be able to continue the improvements and progress students further. 

Staff at the school are well supported, an extensive and well structured CPD program is in place throughout the year. This allows newly qualified and experienced staff to further develop their skills and classroom practice.

The successful teacher will be able to demonstrate consistent high-quality teaching, in-depth subject knowledge and a commitment to collaborative work in the Maths department. They will join an experienced department.
