Horizon Teachers is currently working with an all-boys 11-16 comprehensive school in the borough of Barnet who are looking for additional support staff for their SEN department.
The school are consistently heavily over-subscribed with over 1,000 students on roll including Sixth Form of over 300 students.
They have succeeded in recent years in raising funds for an extensive building and refurbishment programme so that they’re facilities are now first rate and include an AstroTurf pitch, their own playing fields with pavilion, a Performing Arts Centre, an up to date computer network and their new state of the art Sixth Form Centre.
This role will be working within the SEN department of the school so any experience of working with children who have SEN would be a huge advantage, you will be working under direction of the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) and working with students on a 121 basis or getting them involved with group exercises.
