Are you an enthusiastic, proactive graduate who is looking for a new and exciting opportunity within the education sector?

Horizon Teachers is currently working alongside a good secondary school in the borough of Barnet who is looking for a dynamic graduate to join their SEN department as a teaching assistant.
The school prides themselves on celebrating academic success, creative thinking and social responsibility in equal measure.

They are looking for an individual who is proactive, has a positive attitude and enthusiastic towards the work they do.
You will be support students in KS3 and will be given a full induction from day one, you will be offered full support throughout your time at the school, this position is ideally for an individual who is looking to become a teacher in the future and is looking to gain some fantastic experience alongside experienced staff with lots of knowledge to offer to help you in your career.

Noted in their latest Ofsted report Students' behaviour is excellent their superb attitudes towards learning play a key part in the good progress they make they feel safe, Teachers plan their lessons very well and make use of the excellent information they have about their classes and usually make sure the work is matched to the needs of all students, they have exceptional subject knowledge, Teaching is most subject areas is good, and sometimes outstanding.

This great opportunity is due to start after Easter half term and will initially be until the end of the academic year with the right teaching assistant being offered a permanent contract.

Daily Supply Teaching

£145 - £160 per day
Daily Secondary School Teachers required across London Great Rate of Pay  Are you looking for flexible teaching work in Secondary Schools across London? Are you a qualified Secondary School teacher? Do you want to be paid up to £150 for a day’s teaching? Horizon Teachers is currently looking for Secondary School Teachers to work from September.  Horizon Teachers due to an increased demand is now looking to add to the teachers it is working with. We offer a great rate of pay to all our teachers and continued support throughout your time working for Horizon Teachers. As a successful supply teacher it is important to have effective classroom and behaviour management. You must also have excellent rapport building skills with students and be able to following lesson plans. Supply teaching can be an ideal way to supplement your income while setting your own schedule. It also allows you to improve your classroom skills as you try out different schools, year groups and methods. Horizon Teachers can introduce you to a large number of secondary schools in North London. After proving your abilities as a supply teacher, you may also be offered a full-time job and we have found that many of our teachers are offered longer term roles at the school they work in. The option is of course up to you and we will work to get you the role, the school and the number of days teaching you are looking for.
