This Secondary School in South East London is actively seeking to appoint an excellent Geography Teacher to enhance their already dynamic department. This specialised Humanities School, are looking for a candidate to be committed to the development of high quality teaching practices and high standards of achievement.
We are looking to appoint a Geography teacher who shares the belief in the highest standards of the school attainment in a comprehensive setting. This is a rare opportunity to be centrally involved in establishing an outstanding school. The role is suited to a Geography teacher looking to continue to develop as an outstanding classroom practitioner.
You will be joining a department that focus on both theory and fieldwork, these both being an essential element of students studies. Teachers are encouraged to make students learn to think spatially and use maps, visual images and new technologies, including geographical information systems (GIS), to obtain, present and analyse information. The school is looking for someone who will continue to lead confidently within this area.

We are looking for the following Geography Teacher:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or oversea trained.
- PGCE in Geography or degree level equivalent
- Extensive experience teaching KS3, KS4 & KS5
- Experience in a secondary school within the last two years
- Excellent subject knowledge
- Proven track record of raising attainment and keeping standards high
