Are you a Geography Teacher interested in working in a Special Needs department?
We are looking to appoint a qualified, dynamic and experienced Geography Teacher who is enthusiastic, committed and reliable with a passion to start in September. You will be a strong and knowledgeable Teacher in your specialist subject of Geography and be confident teaching to GCSE level.
This Learning Support Department is based in Havering and deals with pupils who have special educational needs and/or disabilities. The aim is to offer pupils an education in the broadest sense of the word encouraging the development of intellectual, emotional and social growth

Key Skills Required
• Hold a nationally recognised degree and relevant qualified teaching status (QTS)
• Have proven experience of teaching Georgraphy, ideally in a Secondary capacity
• Be experienced working within an SEN setting, ideally with ASD although not essential
• Have experience of planning, delivering and teaching lessons to a good or outstanding level
