The DT department is located in a newly designed space where classrooms are furnished to the highest standards with state of the art equipment. The Food Technology classrooms include modern kitchen facilities that allow for creative and large scale projects to be completed. Facilities are maintained by a dedicated technician who prepares resources and ensures all areas are ready for lessons. All of these developments have allowed teachers to progress students and provide lessons that stimulate and excite. Teachers have access to and are also able to use ICT suites to deliver interactive multimedia lessons and students are able to use these facilities to complete work in and out of lesson time.
The head of the DT department is now looking for a Food technology teacher to join the team as due to an internal promotion. The school is looking to appoint a dynamic and motivated teacher of Food technology who has experience of delivering outstanding lessons and a record of developing student achievement. This role would suit an experienced teacher of an NQT looking for their first teaching position.
For all staff an extensive CPD programme is offered, NQTs will be supported throughout their induction year and training is offered weekly to ensure successful completion and rapid progression into their teaching career.
