Horizon Teachers is currently working with an Outstanding Secondary School in Dulwich who are in need of an English Teacher. The school is a co-educational state secondary situated in South-East London. It is a non-denominational, non-selective school for children and young people aged 11-18.
The school wish to appoint a passionate, well qualified and dynamic English Teacher. With English at the forefront of the schools curriculum the Head Teacher wishes to appoint an exceptional teacher. This role would suit an energetic and motivated Newly Qualified Teacher of English or an experienced English Teacher looking to start a new role and pass on their experience. This is a full time role and an initial contract through to December is on offer to cover a period of maternity. There is the possibility of a Permanent role after the fixed term ends in December.
The English Department is a large, Outstanding team, It has teachers who have a vest amount of teaching experience and they achieve some of the best results in the school. The Head of Department is looking for an additional English teacher to join the department. Students study both English Literature and Language at KS3 and 4 a popular A Level course.

• Hold QTS and be a qualified English Teacher.
• Have a degree in English, English Language, English literature or a relevant subject.
• Have recent teaching experience in Secondary Schools
• Be able to demonstrate excellent classroom practice
• Be able to work will in a team of teachers.
