A popular OFSTED rated "Good" school in London are seeking an English Teacher.
We are looking to recruit an English Teacher to start ASAP and work through to the summer break. You will be joining a fantastic highly well organised department of nine staff members to work in an Academy based in South London.
The role is suited to a Main Scale English teacher looking to continue to develop as an outstanding classroom practitioner, or a colleague interested in taking on some additional responsibility within the English department or across the academy at junior Middle Leadership level.
This academy offers a strong English curriculum, teacher work together and are able to create a positive learning culture amongst pupils. The academy combining traditional English Teaching with innovative teaching methods that e[explore the curriculum allowing pupils to experience the curriculum in a varied way. At GCSE results are strong and at KS5 pupils have access to both English Language and literature courses.

If interested in this role you must have the following:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or oversea trained.
- PGCE in English or degree level equivalent
- Extensive experience teaching KS3/KS4 & KS5
- Experience in a secondary school within the last two years
- Excellent subject knowledge
- Proven track record of raising attainment and keeping standards high
