Are you an experienced Design Technology technician or a recent graduate looking for a role within the design Technology department in a school?

Horizon Teachers are currently looking for a Design Technology technician to work within a great Secondary school located in Southwark, South East London. This is a temporary role and would involve DT technician work as well as some cover supervisor work.

Withing this exciting role as a DT technician you will work within the Technology department and provide vital in class support as well as ensuring lessons are correctly resourced and set up. Having a strong knowledge of Design Technology and the workings of a workshop is essential. A background in Design Technology will enable you to work well in this role, throughout the day you will be required to support students as well as ensuring that equipment is maintained and used correctly. Previous school experience is not essential but candidates who have worked in schools as a Design Technology technician will be looked on favourably.

The Design Technology department is very well-resourced and has modern equipment that you will be working with. In this role you will be able to gain experience and also progress with the possibility of a permanent contract in the future.
