Are you an experienced Drama Teacher looking for the next step up in your career in one of North London's best performing school?

Horizon Teachers are working with an Ofsted rated Outstanding, mixed comprehensive Secondary school in North London who are seeking a Drama Teacher to take over as the Head of the Drama Department on a maternity cover contract from January 2020. The school is high-performing, with Progress 8 scores of 0.44 and an Attainment 8 score of 52.9%.

The school are seeking individual who may already have experience of leading a team and will be an inspirational and enthusiastic teacher capable of teaching drama and theatre studies up to KS5. You will have the skills, ambition and vision to lead the department to sustain and build upon this success. The department is made up of a small team of teachers who consistently achieve good results at both KS4 and 5.
All students study drama in Years 7 & 8, with a strong uptake for the key stage 3 Year 9 option and beyond into GCSE, with last years A level results seeing 100.0% of students receive A* to C.

The successful candidate will receive MPS/UPS ( depending on experience) Outer London Allowance TLR 2b
