JOB DESCRIPTION

Horizon Teachers are seeking a well-qualified Drama Teacher to work in an Ofsted Outstanding' secondary in Barnet in a maternity cover position.
The school opened in September 2013 as the first Greek Orthodox secondary school in the country and was graded as Outstanding in its first inspection visit in 2015.

This role offers you the opportunity to teach Drama to Years 7 to 11, as well as have a key influence on the development of the school's Drama curriculum. Excitingly, the school places high value on the Arts, with one of its core values being to allow students to excel in sports, music and the arts.'

The school is based on the Christian faith and moral principles of the Greek Orthodox Church, however it caters for all pupils, not solely those who follow the Greek Orthodox faith. In addition, parents of current pupils speak highly of the experience their children have at the school, praising the quality of teaching and the positive atmosphere.
