Horizon Teachers is currently looking to help North London Secondary Schools with daily supply teachers! Horizon Teachers due to an increased demand is now looking to add to the teachers it is working with.

We offer a great rate of pay to all our teachers and continued support throughout your time working for Horizon Teachers.

As a successful supply teacher it is important to have effective classroom and behaviour management. You must also have excellent rapport building skills with students and be able to following lesson plans.

Supply teaching can be an ideal way to supplement your income while setting your own schedule. It also allows you to improve your classroom skills as you try out different schools, year groups and methods.

Horizon Teachers can introduce you to a large number of secondary schools in North London. After proving your abilities as a supply teacher, you may also be offered a full-time job and we have found that many of our teachers are offered longer term roles at the school they work in. The option is of course up to you and we will work to get you the role, the school and the number of days teaching you are looking for.

To Work for Horizon Teachers you must;

·         Hold UK QTS

·         Have an up to date DBS certificate

·         Be able to provide two professional references.

Maths Teacher - Secondary Pupil Referral Unit - September 2018

£146 - £243 per day

Please apply now!A nurturing Key Stage 4 Pupil Referral Unit in Newham are seeking an experienced, resilient and dedicated Maths Teacher to join the team from September 2018. This is a Full Time position to work between the hours of 8.30am and 4pm Monday to Friday term time only. The position will initially be until Christmas but, for the right person, this is likely to continue until the end of the academic year.The school provides places for up to 60 students between the ages of 14 and 16 who are at risk of permanent exclusion or have already been permanently excluded from mainstream education. The majority of students will remain until they complete Key Stage 4 after which the school support students to transition into Further Education. Aside from Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (SEBD) students have a range of associated Special Educational Needs (SEN) including ADHD and OCD.
