Cover Supervisor at Primary School.

An opportunity is available for a highly experienced TA or HLTA to join an extremely warm and welcoming team of staff at a Primary School in Redbridge, to work as a Cover Supervisor.

Your role will involve covering whole classes in the absence of the Class Teacher. You will be working with all year groups, from Early Years to Year 6. The planning will be done by the Class Teacher, so you will be following the plans. You will be responsible for ensuring that standards of behaviour and learning remain high.

ABOUT THE SCHOOL

The staff at the school work extremely well together. They are a friendly and social team of staff, who will make you feel very welcome and offer plenty of support as you settle into your new role, and beyond.

Behaviour across the school is generally very good, and the children enjoy learning.
There is generally a low turnover of staff at the school. You will need to observe the behaviour of the students and intervene if needed to do so. You will also be asked to do a lunch duty in the halls. You will patrol and make sure that everyone is safe and happy (stop any dangerous behaviour, fighting, bullying and help with upset or hurt students).
