Class Teacher for Complex Needs

I am working very closely with a school in NW London who provide a Primary curriculum for children with a wide range of complex needs.They are seeking a qualified teacher. The role is to start after the February half term holiday full time and has the possibility of becoming permanent for the right person.

The school is ambitious and forward thinking. The quality of facilities focus on developing a learning space that reflects the needs of all children and are successful at removing barriers to access and learning. The learners are aged between 2-16 and are supported by a network of professionals of class based support staff to enable a strong team working ethos. A stimulating yet safe learning environment where pupils are supported to engage in and enjoy their learning through a variety of curriculum activities aimed to facilitate the growth of independence.

No previous experience of teaching in a complex needs school is required except that you have an openness to the range of learning abilities of all learners and above all, have a passion for working with children; someone who is able to see the possibilities for exceptional learners and help develop a provision that enables all to thrive! Primary or Secondary qualified. KS2 Class Teacher

£150 - £225 per day
We are looking for a passionate and inspiring KS2 Teacher, to work in a Year 5 class at a Primary School in Islington. The school is based in a fantastic location, within easy reach of Angel tube station. The class will benefit from having a Teacher who is able to nurture and support them. There are some children with challenging behaviour in the class, but they respond very well to a Teacher who is able to really connect with them, rather than a Teacher with a strict approach. There are 2 Teaching Assistants in the class who know the children very well and are long standing members of staff at the school.
