Are you an experience or new qualified business studies teacher looking for a new and exciting role for the year 2018?

Horizon teachers is currently looking for a passionate business studies teacher with a real passion for economics to work in a purpose built all through school based in Redbridge.
You will be joining an ambitious staffing team who are keen to improve on and exceed previous success year on year, last year they saw 67% of their students achieving A* - C grades.

To be considered for this role you must have the following;

  • Experience of teaching Business Studies (Economics) to KS3/KS4 Standards
  • A Level qualification in Business studies
  • Hold a valid QTS or be overseas trained
  • NQT’s may be considered
  • A proven record of classroom progression
  • Experience of teaching engaging lessons on a daily basis

Your daily duties will consist of the following;

  • Planning and delivering science lessons to the highest standard
  • Establishing and maintaining discipline in the class
  • Being a positive role model at all times
  • Monitoring student progression on a daily basis
  • Assigning work, correcting and marking work carried out
  • Providing a positive environment in which students can learn
  • Liaising with senior staff when needed

The salary in place for this fantastic opportunity is £26,662 - £37,645 Dependant on experience with the right teacher to start immediately.
