Horizon Teachers is currently looking for a Behavioural Support assistant to work in a good Secondary School in Brent, West London. the role is to work alongside a specific student who has behaviourial needs and also work in lessons supporting the learning of other students. This is a temporary role running through until July with the opportunity of a permanent role in September.

The Role;
As a Behavioural Support Assistant you will be working with a specific student who needs additional support, you will work with the student in lessons as well as social time. You will be a key worker and play a main part in the students development. The school would like someone who can act as a role model and motivate this male student to be a respectful member of the student community. This is an excellent opportunity to work with and develop a student in a positive way.

The School
A large inner London School and was graded as Good in the last Ofsted. The team of support staff as directed by the passionate SENCO is a strength of the school. The SENCO has a real passion for the students and all of the staff share the passion to enhance the students education. As a Behavioural Support Assistant you will be offered training so no prior experience is needed, if you have been working in this type of role that would be looked upon favourably but not essential.
