A Pupil Referral Unit in Brent who specialise in meeting the educational needs of children and young people with challenging behaviour are seeking a Behaviour Specilaist to start in September.

The school focus on the individual learning needs of every pupil so that their teaching encourages them forward in their development and to personalise learning and promote independence for all pupils.
As a teacher and member of staff at this outstanding school, you can expect:
· Small groups from 6 to 10 pupils depending on age, learning ability and need
· Very supportive Senior Leadership Team
· On the job training (if necessary)

To be shortlisted for this role, you must have…
·Experience supporting children and young adults with challenging behaviour
·Primary and/or secondary experience
· Evidence of good to outstanding practice
· DBS (we can support with your application)

This is a long-term role for the remainder of the academic year and to continue onto September 2019.The SchoolHorizon Teachers are working with a small school in two locations within Southwark. Their focus is to use the power of education to transform lives. They offer an education to students who have been permanently excluded or who are at risk of exclusion. Some students in Key Stage 4 are able to return to mainstream school but most Years 10 and 11 students remain at the school until they are 16.
